WFCC 2026 Conference Tee – Art by Jordan Twist

This tee was created for the 2026 Wildland Fire Canada Conference + Canadian Smoke Forum in Saskatoon, produced by Trees on Fire Apparel at the request of the International Association of Wildland Fire. It features original artwork by Jordan Twist, a self-taught artist from James Smith Cree Nation. These are the last of the conference shirts.

About the artist

Jordan Twist is a self-taught artist from James Smith Cree Nation, sixty kilometers east of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Their art draws on their experience as a researcher in Indigenous fire stewardship. That work began with the PAGC Wildfire Resilience Initiative. They have been a member of the Thunderbird Collective steering committee and the REDfire lab at Natural Resources Canada. They are now pursuing a Geographic Information Systems certificate at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
